Hotties Alert

This must be the cutest pix of man with dog heehee. Lucky looked so adorable & contented, David looked heartachingly ABClike. The sunnies really suit him. Love the way he is holding Lucky under his arm. Its strange that he always seemed better dressed in the states.
Not much news today but just confirmation of his concert commencing from Shanghai in Aug & Beijing in Sep, but no dates yet for other cities. Dun forget that he will be guest @ tvbs tonight if u hav cable.

Sumtimes I stop by a stall to get the above local snack, not that I am crazy abt it, just like the colors of blue rice with dark brown coconut on top. Actually look better than the taste haha. Sumone once told me that the blue dye if authentic is from sum kinda flower but who ever heard of a blue flower? Anyway everytime I stop by to get 1, noticed the stall next to it manned by 3 guys always hav David's Who do you love on repeat. I stop by maybe once or twice a wk at diff times & they always hav the song on for the past 4 wks. Kinda nice *smiling sheepishly*

yes zhaodi, the blue dye (if authentic) is from a flower.. don't know what's it called but my aunt, when she makes dumpling, also uses this flower to colour the glutinous rice blue. Cooking tip of the day. hehe

It's a gorgeous flower called the "Morning Glory" and the dye is edible (i think you have to dry the flower first). You may see pictures of it here

I have been told that unless you grow your own in SG (or find a free and legal place to pluck them), the next nearest source to buy them (for cooking/baking purposes) would be across the Causeway where's it's actually sold in markets.
