Apparently he met Fanfan 5 yrs ago when Jim Lee, his sometimes coproducer, introduced them & David was impressed by her singing then. Anyway the album called I think 'One plus one' will be released sumtime this mth. I seen her 1st mv while flipping channel & cannot said to be impressed by her performance, way too many change of clothing which detracted from what the song is abt. Maybe David's song will be better realised.
Also a bit disappointed by Leehom fans who kept blaming Karen Mok for his GMA faux pas, it was just a mistake alrite, she did not do it on purpose to embarrass Homie & she apologised to him backstage & he had accepted, end of story. Also yr boy did not win ok, dun mean Stanley Huang is not a worthy winner. He is a vry good & extremely talented singer/composer. Also ex LA Boyz so David in LA will be vry pleased & proud to know he has won.

I didn't watch GMA cuz I ahven't got cable. Anyway, I did read about the Karen Mok/Leehom incident. What I heard was that the fans are mad at her, not so much cuz she embarrassed leehom, but cuz she & her manager refused to admit that she mispronounced "Huang" and "Wang".
It's not her fault, there were many ppl on stage at that time & they dun find anywrong with her pronunication until Lee Hom went on stage, everybody was surprised.
does anyone notice that david tao wears the two or three shirts around all the time?
zhao, i didn't watch it so i really don't know if Karen Mok really mispronounced Leehom's name. Maybe Leehom was too eager to win the award.. hehe..
Nien, yeah i noticed that too. Maybe he's a light packer when he travels for promotions. hehe.
karen DID mispronounced. i heard WANG LI Xing being read out instead of HUANG LI Xing. Both LH & Stan thot each other won and the live crowd's cheers drown out the XING being announced. I also saw the news clip of Karen denying her poor pronunciation, LH fans has reason to be angry with her. But LH has been a good spot so i guess LH fans shud take it in their stride too.
