A boring waste of space

DT feature in Sin July Nuyou made me laugh. The title reads sarcastically 'David Tao has no time for love but still can write love songs'. The writer started off by saying not daring to say who is more popular - Jay or David. Plse, anyone who is their fan know for a fact that Jay is more popular but who cares?. Then went on to say not David's fan & in fact don't really like him but is not prepared to tell the reason. Again like who cares? U have the rite to like or dislike whoever but it is necessary when writing a celebrity feature for a magazine to subtly hint that the celebrity is sumone that is disliked. Is that even ethical? There r ways to reveal yr opinion of a celebrity by relating real & proven incidents that led one to harbor dislike. This is the honest way of cos.

The writer ended by saying opinion of David hasn't changed as the interview was not enjoyable & David hardly even smiled. Has it occurred to the writer that David can sensed the hostility & so responded in kind? Finally another dig at David's supposedly deadpan expression. Basically the feature is just a waste of space & ink cos it can be condensed into just one line, "I don't like David Tao because I am a Jay Chou fan."
Also the pix deliberately selected of David looking deadpanish but still vry cute heehee. He looked sweet really in the floral shirt & white belt. He is not the type to act cool or want to be extremely popular, & we like him that way.

This writer really pissed me off~i wonder why the company wanted to ask someone who don't like david to interview him? if the writer dislike him, the writer will ask something boring because the person don't know david at all? do you think david will be happy doing interview with the writer? waste of time. I will not even buy the magazine, why should i help you to raise the sales?

the company should ask someone like david to interview him, it will make the interview more enjoyable.

i was VERY UNHAPPY about it. even wanna compare with jay?

Its pretty unprofessional to kick off an article like that. It was made worse when the writer did not justify why there is a need to made such statements. Even in an interview article, as a writer, you should just state your questions and answers and not be swayed by your own impressions/ opinions of the interviewee. Very deplorable....tsk! tsk!

I read that mag and was v unhappy abt it, e reporter's job is to bring to us interesting news abt the celebrity, not to tell us how unenjoyable the interview was and how he disliked DT's attitude. Only show how unprofessional the reporter is. DT has been v kind to entertain such a person.
