Quite a few female chinese singers have dropped their albums recently -- Vivian Hsu, Penny Dai, Coco Lee, Fish Leong, Evonne Hsu just to name a few if u r interested. Nothing vry outstanding not even Penny who has updated her image to user-friendly sweetie pie but was thinking her luggage thingy kinda similar to Cheer Chen's critically acclaimed album last yr *shrug*
Surprisingly saw Koreyoshi Kurahara's 1983 movie
Nankyoku Monogatari on sale. Always wanted to see that, Eight Below was loosely based on this far more realistic movie. But ... but ... but not sure if I can bear to watch it, originally there were 15 dogs not 8 & only 2 survived. Eight Below of cos was much sanitised for general viewing but even with 2 dogs dying, it still had ppl crying buckets. Anymore & ppl would have ran screaming out of the cinemas :P The dogs were way too gorgeous & adorable.
My fav dog of the pack Maya licking the first dog to died, Jack, before leaving him to be buried under pure white snow *tissues plse* Realistically the dogs would no doubt grieved for their departed mate but under the extremely harsh Antarctic winter conditions, they probably would have eaten the carcass to stay alive. In that case no one including myself would dared watch the movie *sigh*
