Ah Xin of Shin has covered Black Tangerine in his Best Selection album should be interesting. Yeah if I were to choose a rock band to cover Black Tangerine, I think it would be Shin.
Another gym showing off pix. On the one hand he can look melt-in-the-mouth adorable & the other, lecturing & pedantic. Such interesting combination. Below blowing kisses to his wonderful mainland audience who gave him such passionate response. He must have felt on top of the world. Dun worry David your audience in the other concerts will be just as passionate for sure. Guess he is working hard on his new album now.
Seemed Jackie Chan felt that the mainland Chinese audience should be more supportive of Chinese movies & stars, not go with the popular trend of hot Korean stars & movies. WKW made similar remarks abt HK audience. Well I guess if majority of Chinese entertainment go on giving their audience what they want without educating them then its hardly fair to expect the audience to know any better. Poptart movies are now the yardstick for them.
The same with music as I scan the albums all due for release soon & know it will be the same old fare, nobody daring to deviate from the prevalent poppy sound. Do ppl really never get tired of that sound? Or just me? So I really hope that David will truly forget about his fans & go with whatever he feel like in his new album. Just that lately he sounds like he is really to settle into middle age & come up with an easy sounding album. I want to hear a David with fire & passion like in his concert, a David who will never give up.
