From reports in davidcn, there appeared to be a few female backup singers & 1 of them sang Amazing Grace it seemed. He was supposed to sing Butterfly but didn't. Mom & dad was in the audience, as well John & Andy of Tension. He dedicated Close to you to Joanna & another special girl who was not present, but not sure if Joanna was present. He used Shanghainese to sing the rap part of Susan Said. He only left the stage to change his clothes. As always the most amazing was his perfect vocals. Short clip available @ davidcn showed few minutes of the last song Love Can & he still sounded strong, clear & amazing!
Looked to be like what he said it would be - a concert with focus on music. He sang most of his songs banned in China - Ghost, Bastard, Shanghaied. Also The art of war, god, I love to hear that live. From what I saw in the clip taken with mobile I think, very much in the western style of U2 or Sting not Madonna. He also tried to interact with the audience but seemed sound system was bad in cheaper seats & many shouted they couldn't hear. So I guess he let his singing do the talking & as its David Tao it was the best way heehee
