10 days to concert

David looking more like crew mbr than celebrated singer. More details of his concert here where he revealed that he will be entering the 'rainforest' stage on a 'mock' helicopter. Sounds grand, just hope it dun have Sprite emblazoned on the side heehee. He also said the concert will be like a movie with a storyline to engage his audience.
Must admit it all sound much too elaborate for a concert supposedly all abt the music, but just have to believe David will be able to deliver great sound & music. Not sure if the helicopter entrance is just for Shanghai or will be repeated for Beijing & other concerts.
David still in Singapore following a strict schedule. In the morning he spends hour & a half in the gym then 8 hrs of rehearsal, after going back to his hotel, its voice training & memorising lyrics. He did said that he will be playing the guitar more in the concert & that's good news cos I love seeing him with his beloved guitars. If u watched Ultrasound docu, can see many guitars on the walls of his studio. He must have quite a collection.
One of the best moments in Soul Power was during Regular Friends when he and Jamie went for it on their guitars at the end. He lost out to Jamie of cos but their enthusiasm & sense of musical harmony just so engaging. Wonderful when 2 musicians having fun with themselves & their audience on stage, its extremely rare to see that in a chinese concert. I hope David can do that again, in fact I am pretty sure he can.
Thanks vry much Reb for pointing mistake in Joanne's name, so sry, its correct now. I watched Black Rain which was quite boring & really diff to spot David. He could be anyone from the bikers in the beginning of the movie to the numerous Asians in the background. Unless David himself reveal which scene he was in & what he was playing, its impossible to spot him in the movie.
Sum english online news mentioning David here abt no concerts in gym cos of Olympics, & here abt Elva Hsiao inviting David & Leehom to write songs for her new album. Think I read chinese news where reported Elva rejected first song Leehom wrote for her & David still have not handed in his song. Btw have anyone seen the One to One mv by Fanfan?
