Phoenix ent news had short clip of David's autograph session. He said that he held it at night cos he is afraid of the heat & also to avoid fans getting heatstroke in the queue. As I look back on our years together, I realize there is a certain sense of sadness and loneliness within me. It is a subtle yet powerful emotion that at times threatens to overwhelm me, but then at the next moment vanishes leaving a curious calm and serenity.
I constantly struggle with what is real and what is an illusion. Or simply, it is about what is morally right and wrong in what we choose that perplexes me. I'm simultaneously haunted and touched by our beautiful memories and moments. But is it easier to live with them or without?

The letter is handwritten all in caps which is slightly offputting as I detest writing in all caps. He did said that he is worried cos he has many things yet to complete. But I am perplexed myself, what is preventing him from completing them. Time? Age? He is not that old. Brad Pitt got a new lover, a daughter & is still a sex symbol at 43. Or maybe ppl in Asia are more concerned with age. I seen a lot of comments abt Andy Lau getting old & yet when Tom Cruise was touring HK & China, nobody said he is getting old & they are the same age.
He certainly dun look old in the Too Beautiful mv. He looks extremely sexy in his very cool Ducati jacket. Not sure if the bike is Ducati as well but hope so. Also not sure where the mv was shot but the last part probably in US. Now I am hooked on this song & mv ^__^ The lyrics so touching & personal, the melody simple & sweet, David's singing not perfectly but slightly hoarse with remembrance. Too many things to like in the mv -- poster of John & Yoko Lennon, David with the horse, David in the Ducati jacket, David riding the bike with his bride behind like A Moment of Romance, David taking off his jacket ...

thanks for clearing up the love letter thingie :) and i agree with you that writing in all capitals is offputting. but it won't stop me from supporting DT. he does great music. btw, i like the new mv a lot too :)
i love the Too Beautiful MV too!!! Especially the older couple - an endearing image of everlasting love...the perseverance and persistence of love lasting through time. I love the tune, the words, and he looks younger with every album release and HOTTER too! ;O)

Tom cruise is probably the most adventurous hollywood actor alive. reminds me alittle of Steve McQueen with all the bikes and cars. Must be nice to be able to spend £50,000 pounds on a custom built 170mph motorbike and not have to worry about the cost. one thing is for sure, I bet the bike insurance will be pretty hefty on his new machine. he must be obsessed with bikes, he already owns more than a dozen of them.
