David in Guiyang

He arrived in the morning dressed casually in white tee & jeans met by excited fans. He will be there for 2 days with packed schedule of concert promo. A bit surprised he has fans all over China. Not that I doubt his appeal but for someone who is not considered goodlooking, popular or cool enough, not that young anymore & has nvr appeared in an idol series or movie, its actually quite an achievement. DT did it all through his music, so proud of him.
Of cos having an extremely devoted fanclub like DTFC helps enormously ^__^ It seems customary now to include a pix of him wiping perspiration from his face but still he managed to look adorably cute.
From the good to the bad *sigh* paparazzi at it again & stalked David all the way to Macao. They secretly took pixs of him in the casino & claimed that cos he lost money 'his face turned black' *roll eyes* With nothing more juicy to report, they further claimed that since 'rumored gf not at his side' David left his friends & went back to his room early. The truth is probably David being a guest of the hotel would had received complimentary chips & who could resist having a flutter at what is claimed 'the largest casino in the world'? But knowing he has a packed week ahead of him, David went to bed early.
Not satisfied with this, they came out with another report that claimed David replied through EMI that he didn't lose but won & it was his first time gambling in a casino. All lies since David had already admitted on Peach Protein last yr that he does gamble in casino now & again but not in a big way & he usually won. Basically the intention of these news reports seem to want to insinuate in a roundabout way that David has vices like gambling & a short fuse. Honestly I find it hilarious that they wasted so much time & labor stalking him for so long & all they managed to come up with is an extremely normal profile of a man in his late thirties who enjoys the company of friends, meets up with his dad frequently, sometimes has a few drinks in a bar & knows how to gamble.
Anyway enough of my Charlotte web spinning truth *__* Onto finer things like this blog review of the Venetian Macao Hotel opening with mention of David. Nice pixs but no Dave *cry* still lucky Alan Tam singing with Diana Ross! News clip featuring a bit of David singing I Love You. A-Mei received the loudest cheers as she is probably more well-known in Macao & she looked lovely. Saving best for last is youtube vid of David singing Rain - love love love this slower, almost cabaret-style rendition just rite for such a grand, LA-styled hotel:
