Apparently David is so unpopular that he was invited to perform at the grand opening of the lavish Venetian Macao Resort Hotel on 8/28 & got himself mentioned in usatoday:
Rob Hart at Morgan Stanley said Macau will never become a diversified travel destination like Las Vegas. "It's going to be slow transition ... it's never going to happen to the same extent," Hart said. There are also doubts about whether Western entertainment like Cirque du Soleil will appeal to an Asian clientele. "It may be more useful to do an Andy Lau concert there than Cirque du Soleil," Gabriel Chan at Credit Suisse Hong Kong said, referring to a veteran Hong Kong actor-singer. In an apparent attempt to show its commitment to meeting Chinese entertainment tastes, Taiwanese pop stars Chang Hui-mei and David Tao performed Tuesday as part of opening festivities. It wasn't immediately clear if the Venetian plans to seek them out as permanent acts.
My Charlotte web seems to be working its magic ^__^ Anyway noticed the hotel has a 15000-seat arena if David is thinking of holding a concert in Macao. This is an incredibly lush hotel with interior canals complete with gondola. Hope he had time to look around & maybe went for a romantic ride with A-Mei. If not Tension then A-Mei will be the best guest for his TP concerts as far as I am concerned *__* davidtao.com has been updated with concert link info. David will also be having a private get together with 123 lucky VIP ticketholders on 9/2 right after his promo activities in Guiyang this weekend. Wow 3 cities in 3 countries within a week, for such an unpopular singer, he sure is busy.
