Cult DT

The real DT - cute, adorable & so down to earth. This is during interview on 8/18 & his hardworking TW fans has recorded & posted it up. Great interview but much too short. As usual he impressed me with his honesty. He admitted that he felt the Love Can concerts were too elaborate which is why for Wooden Concerts he went back to simple & focus more on musical content. I respect him just for that comment. It shows that he actually care abt what his fans felt & even though the Love Can concerts were by no means failure but he is still concerned enough to make the adjustment so that he can satisfy his audience as well as his own demands. He said he is most happy with the concert lighting which he thought was able to blend well with his music & from the few clips I have seen, the lighting did look extremely impressive. It was funny when he talked abt the Shanghai concert & how he thought the rain would stop but it just got heavier & heavier. He seems to have matured a lot which sounds funny when he is vry mature to start with. He used to be a bit flaky which can be adorable but now he has this calmness & decisiveness that is vry attractive. Or maybe its just that I like a man who knows his mind & in control of his life but still retains a boyish sense of enthusiasm ^__^
As expected there is a news report which claimed that his TW concerts are only 20% sold cos fans are put off by his latest rumors. The headline said his renqi meaning popularity is 'down' spelt in english. There has been so many articles abt his falling popularity one wonders why the media is still so obsessed with him if he is so damn unpopular. Its not as if he is trying to be more popular. One hardly see or read abt him in entertainment news & he is rarely featured in magazines. Nowadays he only appears for branding activities & concert promos & even these are kept to the minimum. Even if his renqi is falling, so what? It doesn't mean he should stop holding concerts or releasing albums. It doesn't mean that he is no longer talented or that he can no longer sing like a god. Or that he is unable to put on a fantastic concert that will just blow ppl away. When will the chinese media stop equating popularity with quality? I know its no use ranting cos these kinda reports are not going away & ppl who wanna believe the worst of David will anyway. Also I have nvr wanted David to be extremely popular cos I am rather selfish & dun really wanna share him with so many others :P no not really but I just love love love him when he has that extra cult status which only certain ppl can appreciate & admire *__*
