yup that ad is on tv quite a bit these days in Toronto hehe! It's in Mandarin or Cantonese depending on what language of TV program is being aired. looking forward to it! gotta start planning for the big day...
Thanks vry much Jia. Also there will be press conference & autograph session on 3/28 from 5-7pm @ Metro Square. Guess Metro Square must be wellknown in Toronto as no address given. Anyway Alice, maybe can go & give David invitation to the fan gathering personally ^__^

jia, we are really up and running the fan gathering, if you are interest let me know, i'll email you some more info. We also have Jessie in Toronto & Pasun from Boston helping out at the mean time.
Zhaodi, thank you for advertising for us. We have about 13 people for the event so far. We are hoping for 25 and still contacting EMI to see if we can deliver the message to David. Also called/faxed/emailed Taipan but they said they cannot ask David to come to a fan gathering, its company policy, bla bla. If David can't come to the gathering, hope people won't be too dissapointed.
No problem, Alice, glad to help ^__~ So great of u guys to organise this for David. For sure he will be vry pleased & hopefully he can attend. Apparently the LA concert has been moved from Apr to Jun but will post date only if confirmed. Actually dun know but feeling a bit uneasy abt the haste in staging so many concerts this yr. Also wondered if he managed to resolve the case of not being paid for his concerts staged last yr. Is he really able to do so many concerts, write, direct & produce a full-length movie as well as come up with a new studio album this yr? Oh well so long as he is happy & satisfied doing what he wants to do I guess *__*

Surf by your blog while looking up for news and music of DT as I look forward to the Toronto concert. I've been a fan of his music but never really paid attention to his news. Glad to know there are others out there as happy that he's finally having a concert in Toronto! Nice blog btw, keep the good work up!

I was actually coming over to post about that Press/Autograph session! As Zhaodi's pic says, Taipan has arraged for DT to do a sorta meet n' greet the day before the concert on March 28 from 5-7. It will be at Metro Square... for those of you who don't know, it's located uptown (northern fringes of Toronto actually...it's technically in Markham, Ontario). On Steeles Ave, just west of Warden Ave. Addresss is 3636 Steeles Avenue East, Markham, ON.
This looks like a good chance to get a bit closer to DT that you might otherwise get at the concert =] I'm a little concerned that since it's 2 hrs only there might not be time for him to do a whole lot... esp if a good number of people show up. A friend of a friend who works with Taipan says that in the past when other TW or HK celebs came, a managable number of ppl showed up and getting an autograph wont be a problem. Either way, we'll all be going won't we? Hahah
Alice: The fan gathering sounds awesome! i really hope u can get DT to attend, all ur hard work should be rewarded! a few of my friends are coming from out of town to join me for the concert so I can't leave them n they might need to go some places after the concert. I'll talk to the about the gathering though, and see if we can make it. big thanks to u n all the fans putting this together!

Thank you for giving us the address of the Metro Square, several of the people had asked me about the location and of course, i have no idea; if they ask me a location in NY I would know :)
And yes, you should take the out-of-towners around, there's just so much in Toronto. but if you guys decided to come to join us, you are welcomed, just send me an email.
