Sadly the papers seemed to concentrate on the stunts to increase donation rather than congratulate the organisers, performers & workers who worked so hard to make the Ren Ci Show so successful. An old acquaintance who used to work as stuntsman in HK dun find any of the so-called stunts vry difficult or dangerous. If well supervised & performed, he felt there shouldn't be any injuries at all. The one that could potentially caused injury was the couple who did the tightrope walking only cos of their age. If they were younger, it would posed no danger at all.
Also the ppl who were doing the stunts r majority entertainers who could be expected to perform even more difficult stunts in their work. Even David did a few stunts in his mvs & wore a harness in his concerts. Also I believed Ella of SHE sustained a terrible back injury during filming mv. So if sum of these entertainers backed out from performing in charity cos of injuries, how ever r they going to able to work in a movie say like Kung Fu Hustle? Anyway main thing is the spirit of generosity was proven once again & the winners r the needy patients in Ren Ci Hospital. Btw wanna give a shout out to SGFC who donated $800 in David's & their name. What a great fanclub!
