Apparently both SHE & Rene offered to be
guests @ David's upcoming concerts but was regrettably turned down by David as he did not want to spoil the theme of his concert & has already planned to sing at least 30 songs *__* Actually seems to me more like Daphne's suggestion so the girls can sing Just be yourself with David. Fortunately David is not the most compliant spokesperson esp where his own concerts are concerned :P But the most wonderful thing is David said that he will be singing some of the songs he written for others *jump for joy* But thing is which songs cos well I want him to sing all of them. Top of my List will be LA Boyz's Kingston Man, Tony Leung's Wind & Sand, Ronald Cheng's Thinking of your love, Karen Mok's I understand, any or all of A-Mei's songs, Jasmine Leong's I already know ... I can go on but still whichever songs he pick I am more than happy ^__^ Looks like its shaping up to be the most fantastic concert so I doing an early countdown!
Finally another GMA postscript heehee cos can't help noticing that media made a point of mentioning Marry Me Today as winning best song of the yr making it probably the most recognisable GMA song of the yr cos dun think anyone remember which song won last yr or the yr before. Not trying to put down these songs cos for sure they are excellent works just that they were not so popular as Marry Me Today. So again David unintentionally set a first for himself winning his first award @ GMA for Song of the year with his most commercially popular song. This man just can't help setting strange trends for himself *__* Also I noticed that with the success of Hennessy Artistry more labels are doing the same music & alcohol mix like Johnnie Walker & Chivas Regal. Not saying that its all cos of David but still as always, he was there first ^__^

The concert sounds fabulous. Im seriously thinking of revising my travel intinerary to arrive in Shanghai one day earlier so I can watch the show.
Haha what a blast it would've been if S.H.E were to guest... any chance that plans might change? :P But definitely support DT to have his concert the way he wants it!
i sure do hope David won't miss out his sg fans if this is going to be like his last concert before he move on to his "director" dream. :(
