Be happy :)

Watch probably last episode of Hennessy Artistry in Shanghai & it was rather disappointing. Only showed abt 5 mins of David's live & instead showed full Too Beautiful mv *sigh* Get to see more @ youtube. Most of the half hour was featured on Sky Nellor who was incredibly dull. Been to many clubs in Sydney where djs had more personality. All she did to revue up the crowd was mouth words & clap her hands above her head. She didn't even had the rite moves >"< Maybe the reason why she is so in demand all over the world is like Britney, she left her underwear at home except for her its the top garment ^__^
Heehee maybe the reason I'm so bitchy is cos she was rather blase abt not knowing who David is when asked. Contrast this with David's answer when he said diplomatically that although Sky Nellor is not well-known here, she is very famous internationally. Considering that he probably don't know who the hell she is either. David did had a vry good interview & I loved the way that he tried his best to answer on the spot some rather banal questions. That's the other thing abt this program: the djs are quite something esp the female who tend to overemphasized every second word - The ART of MIXING in SHANGHAI. Also the 2 of them seem to hate each other *__* Anyway it was nice to see David & he looked absolutely charming.
Walked past a child care center & heard Marry me today! Some tiny tots were listening & singing along. It was so sweet. Suddenly realised why this song is so popular. Young children are extremely receptive to songs & unlike adults, they accept easily anything that makes them happy. David said that when he wrote the song, he wanted both children & adults to like it. When I first heard the song, I thought it has similar rhythm to a children song. It makes you feel lighthearted & happy, almost like returning to your innocent, careless, childhood days. I think its actually harder to write a song to make people happy than one that makes them sad or get up & dance. Its even harder to write a song that can make both children & adults happy without the song sounding overly cute like for instance Mouse like big rice. Once again I marvel at the musical genius that is David Tao. He did said during the Hennessy Artistry interview that the most important thing when he write songs is to move people not to follow or set musical trends.
