Songlist of Beautiful as follows:
1) Too beautiful station (?)
2) Can't Get You Outta My Mind
3) Too Beautiful
4) The Chase
5) The Moment
6) Walk On
7) How Long
8) I Don't Wanna Know
9) Marry Me Today (feat Jolin)
11) So Beautiful
12) Forever
13) Olia
3 are cm songs - The Moment (Honda Civic), Walk On (Walkman) & So Beautiful (Rejoice) - & 1st track sounds more like an intro, leaving 9 new songs so he did cheat a little >"< Still the songlist sounds wonderful. Is Olia a girl's name I wonder? Also could this be his 1st album released without any banned song in mainland China? Some TW fans already got their Can't Forget tin & inside is a love letter in english & printed with David's handwriting. At the back is the code to test listen to 5 songs which included Too beautiful, The Chase, I don't wanna know & Finally. Anyway the response is extremely good esp for The chase. According to SGFC, Sembawang Music Store is currently the only outlet accepting preorder but not all stores so check before going. Also the Can't Forget tin is not given out yet. Anyway it will probably take a few days. Preorder is also available in HK I believe but not in Malaysia according to starlady :(
davidtao.com has posted up schedule of David's appearances in TW for the nxt few weeks. So far he has appeared in Showbiz & can bt @ icefish but be warned that's an extremely slow loading site. He also appeared in program hosted by Taozi tonight but so far no news abt it. He will also be appearing in Peach Protein which had been pre-recorded so not sure when it will be broadcasted. As I said, seems to be a more low-key album release this time maybe cos the album is softer & not so controversial. Already fans are complaining that its such a big change & not used to this quieter, gentler David. Should David do another Black Tangerine, another Great Leap? Surely not, let him go his way. Although I am unhappy abt so many cm songs being included, still being David, he has spend a lot of time & hard work on these songs & they are his own original compositions so why shouldn't they be included in his new album? As for the duet with Jolin, I don't know but I am quite neutral abt it. I only ever listen to her songs when I am watching mtv but she is certainly not the worst female chinese singer. Also either she or her manager is quite smart as she usually don't attempt to sing songs out of her range & only recordable in the studio. So her live performances will not let her down unlike some of her compatriot singers. Remember David made her spend 11 hrs in the studio so we should hear a creditable performance from her for sure.
I believe David still has lots of things he want to convey to us in his new album. After all, falling in & out of love, courtship, heartbreak and marriage are very important parts of our lives so why shouldn't he write abt them. Doesn't always have to be abt world affairs cos mostly in our lives, we are more concerned abt the people around us. Just because the album is abt love don't mean that it will not be a meaningful album. Like the song Can't Forget, while it seemed to be abt recalling past memories, it is also abt how to use the past to reconnect with the present & move on to the future. In the beginning a mysterious woman in black gave David a rose & card to help him recall his past memories. At the end he too gave a rose & card to a young lady who may be the woman in black in her past life. Life moves on & so does David. So please don't keep wanting him to do the same things over and over again. Even if this album is not as good as the previous ones, at least he is trying new things & telling different stories.
Also some of you who are vry knowledgeable abt music has been making interesting comments abt the music of Can't Forget so take the opportunity to include them here:

i agree...the music of wang bu liao just grows on you...i was a trifle disappointed when i first heard it...but like in all David's album, one must understand the psyche of the composer before one can appreciate David's music at a deeper level. after reading his diary entry, i can sort of understand why this song was re done in such a way. the intro sounded silly, but i believe, David did it purposely to reflect the music of the past...i dunno which genre, which era...but this wo wo yeh yeh thingy was quite popular some long time ago. the daba daba daba part was even more clever...it was the jazzed up version of the famous piano intro of wang bu liao the original...soo sooo sooo clever..... i like it!

So I hope those who are disappointed with this song try to understand some of the background of the various styles of music he is using. David hardly ever do 'cookie cutter' music. It may sound 'cookie cutter' only cos he is using a genre of music you may be familiar with. But his arrangement are always original & vry clever.
