Below is her performance @ GHA last yr, the highlight of that lacklustre show. Incredible how versatile she is. She can sing anything & make it sound good. Such a powerful voice yet she controls it so well. This vid really showcase her talents from singing ballads to fast songs back to ballads then a grand finale without missing a beat. It both amazed me and annoys me how someone like Jolin can be the top artist when we have AMEI.
Well A-Mei was pretty famous before Jolin until she got banned by China. She nvr did regain the same level of fame even after the ban was lifted. David once said that she needs to find her music direction. Actually I feel she should go back to her aboriginal root & start from there. I find her latest album vry refreshing & enjoy it a lot but it wasn't vry special. Hope she can find her direction & come up with some surprises for her next album. I will always support her.
Lovin' her! Best female vocal in the mandarin pop music scene.
