Hope Sin concert is selling well even tho not a lot of promo. I should think there would be contest to win tickets so keep yr ear to the chinese stations. Thanks to beach gurl's advice, if u r buying 78 tickets, select the North for a straighton view & fast exit. However, cookie, sure yr seats r fine, just relax & enjoy yourself, u r @ David Tao concert ^__^

No news of David but once again Jackie Chan has given the entertainment world a shake with his frank comments. Just wanna point out he has also been known to make vry frank remarks abt Hollywood & Chris Tucker without any repercussions. I sometimes wonder if the chinese entertainment world is unable to take any kinda criticisms. If they can make movies with the Twins, Edison Chen, Daniel Wu, Donnie Yen, Jaycee Fong & Jackie Chan all together, then why not Andy Lau, Chow Yun Fat, Stephen Chow, Tony Leung & Jackie Chan? It think it will be rather cool, kinda chinese Ocean Eleven. Tell the truth, like chinese music, I haven't been vry excited abt chinese movies apart from WKW but he took so long to make them. Btw just found out that Bird Thongchai was in 2046 but dun know which part, must watch it again now I know how good he looks heehee

Sprite, soup and David

Pretty quiet except for sum wild voting for Sin hit award heehee not that I believe in internet voting anyway, same as awards. Dun forget Love Can concert on sale today 10/10. The seating arrangement @ Indoor Stadium not free but by ticket so that means earlier booking means better seats.

I have been listening to a few Asian singers like Bird Thongchai McIntyre & Siti Nurhaliza & tell the truth, they are so much better than chinese singers. I really tried listening to a range of chinese singers but they all seemed to imitate emotion & singing than actually singing the song, not sure how to explain.
I am reminded of Andy Warhol's Campbell Soup prints. He was not imitating a soup can in the prints but celebrating it as a very ordinary, everyday item in the supermarket that is nonetheless beautiful. Its like David's songs, you probably dun find anything truly remarkable or surprising. No great burst of fireworks but fireworks while brilliant only last for a while, whereas we have to go thru the normal, ordinary things in life every day. So one need to be reminded how wonderful they can be. So yeah Campbell Soup & David's music, 2 great classics.

It is to be expected of cos tickets will be on sale till sold out. Purchase of tickets thru Sin fanclub is closed but think Davten Yahoo grp still opened.
If you are looking for ppl to go with or need info abt concert or have new info, its probably advisable to post at a forum so ppl can read & respond rather than shoutbox. There are several forums to post - offficial DT forum, Sin fanclub forum, DTFC english forum & blog forum altho I know u guys will still continue to post @ shoutbox heehee but still will sticky Sin concert @ blog forum for yr convenience ^__~
