David won 3 awards in China TOP Awards for Best Male Singer (Beautiful), Best Songwriter (Marry Me Today), Best Producer (Beautiful) in the HK/TW category. Surprisingly he turned up for the awards presentation in Shanghai & even sang Marry me today with Jolin. Or maybe not as his Shanghai concert is nxt week & probably wanna keep his sponsor happy seeing as they are running a countrywide competition for him. When interviewed he said he was surprised at the results esp for Marry Me Today as he didn't spend a lot of time working on this song. He joked that a lot of ppl told him they got married cos of this song ^__^
They praised him for his taste in clothes & he said it was not him but his stylist. Although I dun particularly like the shirt, it does look good on him and the girly lapel pin is a nice touch. I hope his stylist will go easy on his costumes for his concert as in not too much glitter & NO tail plse which always remind me of parrot >"<
He looks like he lost a bit of weight, must be all that rehearsing. Getting excited now that his 123 We are all wooden men concert is almost upon us. Do wish him all the best. As his journey continues, I hope to give him a new start come July when my blog will be 3 yrs old.

Love this pix (credit DTFC) cos his side profile is vry adorable ^__^ Not much news but apparently he was the Yesasia Editor's Pick on 6/21:
David's Ultrasound Thursday, June 21, 2007
Picked By Ceriseno
He has been hailed as the Chinese godfather of R&B and his success along with the frenetic reaction of music lovers everywhere says it all. David Tao simply has that special sound - Ultrasound.
The 38-year-old singer/songwriter no doubt has music in his veins, which may partly be inherited from his father, David Tao (Tao's original name was Anthony, but he changed it to David later on), who also used to be a well-known singer in his younger years. No doubt, David Tao is today a source of pride for his father. Here are a few comments on the material featured on Tao's Ultrasound. Melody comes blowing in as a melancholic ballad reminiscing about opportunities lost in the past, while Shanghaied (CD 1/Track 1) presents a groovy up-tempo tune. The latter revolves around girls and boys reveling beneath the glitter of Shanghai's neon lights with no intentions to go home as the original song title, "Not Going Home Today", implies. I Like It (CD 1/Track 8) involves more positive sounds as Tao sings about the quest for natural simple things that lead to happiness and laughter. Close To You (CD 1/Track 9) drifts down to more romantic levels, unveiling what's on the mind of a lover who longs for his dear one. Finally, there is no way around Tao's standard ballad, that is simply called I Love You (CD 1/Track 14 - the original title literally reads as "Love Is Very Simple"). Amid all its naiveté there are traces of truth to be found in this song about a person's romantic confessions. Even though this song adheres to such old fashioned lines as "The world may keep changing constantly, but if you sincerely try, love becomes easy", Tao has pepped it up with enough good feel and R&B to turn it into a classic worth its replay value.
Overall, this release includes a good number of melodious songs, ranging from rock to R&B and alternative music among other elements, that all blend seamlessly into Tao's specific Ultrasound.

Its always nice to read a professional review of his works as there is always the respect & just reinforce my devotion to him. He is simply the BEST for me *__*

10 days to 77 Shanghai concert
Skipped a day sry :( Even though David is busy rehearsing but media seems to have ways of interviewing him. This interview is during his China trip where he talks abt cars & Shanghai food ^__^ Currently he only sleeps 4 hrs a day as he has to rehearse during the day & plan the concert at night. 80% of the music will be rearranged & he even went so far as listen nonstop to Jiangsu music from Nanjing to incorporate into a medley which he hopes will bring nostalgia to the Nanjing audience. This is the music he remembered his grandfather playing to him when he was young. He is constantly thinking of ways to engage his audience not forgetting that some of them may be from other countries like Japan, Korea, Canada & US. He also has to console his mother who after inviting a few relatives to go watch his concert in Nanjing found that she was unable to get any VIP tickets ^__^
Finally some trivia: apparently Ella from SHE is currently dating Josh Chen who is a songwriter & producer in David's company. Not sure but I think he has released album with Andrew Chu. Josh & Andrew also wrote one of the most well-liked songs in Tai Mei Li, Forever. Tension fans should remember Josh as he wrote many of Tension's songs like Love ATM & Two Moons. Below Josh & Andrew performed Forever during DT's TW univ tour last yr:

12 days to 77 Shanghai Concert
Not much just random news abt David not having time to write song for 快乐男生. Earlier there was report that he was competing with Eason Chan for the theme song *sigh* Not competing, he was asked but regrettably rejected as he wanted to concentrate wholeheartedly on his concerts. 2 yrs ago he also rejected to write song for Supergirls cos he too was concentrating on his concerts. Back then he was misquoted as saying he didn't want to write songs for contestants so ppl thought he was looking down on them. Now he clarified & said he really admired contestants who are so brave to compete & they actually can sing. He also said that he & his team have come up with 3 different opening acts & interaction with the audience, & they are now working hard to present the best & most spectacular in the Nanjing concert. Not sure why he just mentioned Nanjing & not Shanghai. Also changed title to 77 Shanghai concert cos seem to be new chinese way of numerical date so must go with the trend ^__^
Putting some more Tension content here as hopefully there will be more news abt them with Jimmy coming out with his own album soon *happy* & being guest @ Vanness's concert *joy* in Japan. Also change Comments to Contributions as in the past, there have been many helpful contributions from generous fans for which I am eternally grateful & hope they will continue. Just remove contributions as it looks too weird. Bear with me as trying to make this blog more streamlined as well as interactive.

14 days to Shanghai concert
Must say I like his new concert look, very contemporary & rather masculine. He is one sexy guy ^__^ Wrapup of GMA (again!):
WEAK vocalist on the Best Mandarin Female Singer award
The Best Mandarin Male Singer cannot enunciate his words properly. The Best Mandarin Album is one filled with vulgarities, and the Song Of The Year is, at best, a cheesy karaoke tune.
How unbecoming of the Golden Melody Awards, which is dubbed the most authoritative and credible of Chinese music awards. This year's results were arguably the most jaw-dropping, throwing up no less than four major shockers that have drawn media flak.
First, Jolin Tsai won Best Mandarin Female Singer not for her vocal prowess, but her 'all-rounded' pop appeal.
Second, Nicky Lee of hip-hop group Machi won Best Mandarin Male Singer for his smooth baritone and soothing ballads. But critics questioned his thick American accent, and how he could have ousted stronger nominees like David Tao and JJ Lin.
Radio 1003's Lim Leng Kee said: 'Nicky's singing is not bad, but if you consider other factors like experience, songwriting skills and popularity of songs, shouldn't it be David Tao who wins? Wouldn't that be more convincing?'
Third, the Best Mandarin Album went to rapper MC Hotdog's vulgarity-laden Wake Up, even though he was not nominated for any other categories. Judges said they were won over by his creative talent and how he injected everyday life into his hip-hop music, reported United Daily News.
But detractors feel that this acknowledgement may send the message that it is all right to lash out at the world by spewing vulgarities. My Paper journalist Cheryl Loh said: 'His language is crude, but is it necessary? And is this now the new standard for future Best Albums?'
Finally, the Song Of The Year went to the David Tao-Jolin Tsai duet, Marry Me Today. Judges said it won for its mass appeal and heartwarming quality, but critics find it too cheesy.
Warner Music's James Kang said: 'David Tao has so many other songs that are far superior in quality and uniqueness. This one is a tad too common although it is a fun song with a catchy tune.'
(Reposted from Electric New Paper online)
Actually just posting for the last line *__* Anyway its strange that ppl venting their displeasure @ the recipients although surely its not their fault. They didn't asked for the awards, they competed for them & won. You may not agreed with the results but to attack the winners seems unfair. Esp Jolin, she is made to feel as if she has somehow stole the award from A-Mei. Give the girl some credit, Dancing Diva was a breakthrough for her.
Thanks Sukyee & Tangerina for yr comments but I think you are mistaken. Certainly I am not asking for fans to gossip abt him. Definitely DT fans love him for his musicality but I dun see any serious discussion abt his music, the muscial direction of his nxt album or even the content of his upcoming concerts. Most fans post only when it impacts on their lives like is he holding a concert where they live, when is his nxt album coming out, is he having an autograph session, etc. But as I said I really dun bother anymore & neither do David. Have you not noticed that even though he comes to Singapore quite often for work, he rarely holds autograph session here anymore. Cos most fans are like me, they dun turn up even to see him but they support him by buying his albums & going to his concerts. Anyway do whatever you feel comfortable. I, on the hand, believe in letting the world know what a musical genius he is only cos he has so little support from media & critics. If not for DTFC constantly reminding the world there is such an unique musician called David Tao, I doubt I will have this blog. However his name does have the tendency to pop up in the strangest place ^__^

15 days to Shanghai concert
This intriguing news item abt EMI alerting the media abt a BIG star they will be signing up nxt mth & having a bigscale event to announce in HK. I am thinking it could either be Jay or Mayday. I am hoping its Jay as he just wrote a song for A-Mei & his relations with Sony dun seem vry warm. Can you imagine if its Jay, the media will go crazy with the triangle of Jolin & Show. Not that I am interested, just how it will affect David. First off, it will definitely take the spotlight off him which is good & hopefully pave the way for him to go independent. I am tired of David being a commercial product, I want him back where he belongs - doing his own thing in the studio & not bothered abt sales, awards or ktv charts. He can be doing movies or music, whichever he is happy with.
Also going indie dun necessarily mean going underground as can be seen with Sodagreen who is indeed 'indie' sry for some reason I thought they were with the same label as Angela Zhang cos both of them were receiving so much airplay @ MTV but really their stuff much too candypop *sry tangerina ^__^* Deserts is not though, she is with SonyBMG which apparently kept her frozen for a while. Perhaps they were waiting for her to stop simmering 'It's a big big big world and I'm a small small small girl':P Dun get me wrong, I like her alot & she has such huge potential. She is talented, brainy & beautiful so she should be doing more 'I am a woman, hear me ROAR' Dear Deserts, stop trying to be Cheer, try to be more Penny instead ^__^
Btw I noticed that EMI has a new board & as usual David is the most empty *sigh* I have given up wondering why his fans are so reluctant to post just wish they stop whining abt no concert in US or no dvd for concert in TW. These things cost MONEY so why should David or EMI invest in something that on surface look to have vry little return. Sry for being harsh but that's the reality these days. Anyway the Daphne contest to find his 'lover' to sing Marry Me Today with him is on the way (Info link credit to phii @ SGFC) David said the girls must at least know how to sing & be extrovert, confident & has a sense of humor. In other words they should resemble Jolin in character at least.

Apparently both SHE & Rene offered to be guests @ David's upcoming concerts but was regrettably turned down by David as he did not want to spoil the theme of his concert & has already planned to sing at least 30 songs *__* Actually seems to me more like Daphne's suggestion so the girls can sing Just be yourself with David. Fortunately David is not the most compliant spokesperson esp where his own concerts are concerned :P But the most wonderful thing is David said that he will be singing some of the songs he written for others *jump for joy* But thing is which songs cos well I want him to sing all of them. Top of my List will be LA Boyz's Kingston Man, Tony Leung's Wind & Sand, Ronald Cheng's Thinking of your love, Karen Mok's I understand, any or all of A-Mei's songs, Jasmine Leong's I already know ... I can go on but still whichever songs he pick I am more than happy ^__^ Looks like its shaping up to be the most fantastic concert so I doing an early countdown!
Finally another GMA postscript heehee cos can't help noticing that media made a point of mentioning Marry Me Today as winning best song of the yr making it probably the most recognisable GMA song of the yr cos dun think anyone remember which song won last yr or the yr before. Not trying to put down these songs cos for sure they are excellent works just that they were not so popular as Marry Me Today. So again David unintentionally set a first for himself winning his first award @ GMA for Song of the year with his most commercially popular song. This man just can't help setting strange trends for himself *__* Also I noticed that with the success of Hennessy Artistry more labels are doing the same music & alcohol mix like Johnnie Walker & Chivas Regal. Not saying that its all cos of David but still as always, he was there first ^__^

Last word
David made it into the China Hospitality News ^__^ Pity the pix is so small cos he looked vry yummy. There some news abt David wanting to trace his grandfather's birthplace in Nanjing & asking his fans to help. As his dad will be attending his Nanjing concert, he hopes to give this info to him as belated Father's day gift. He also said that there will be a lot of audience interaction but it will be revealed only during the concert.
Dun really wanna write abt GMA anymore but was reading TW fans' overjoyed reaction to Marry Me Tody winning song of the year. Guess its more relevant to them being in their country. It was a feeling like in soap series where the talents & hard work of the hero finally paid off in the end & he was given the award against all odds. Frankly I was surprised that he won cos I expected Planting Trees to win. It was not only a wonderful song but has a social msg abt the environment. Yes indeed the odds were stacked against David considering Jay had not 1 but 2 songs that have the credentials to be song of the yr. One was extremely obscure & so awardworthy :P & the other brought together the successful combination of cool, young, trendy with old & traditional. So why did GMA gave David the award considering they own him no favors? It was not a small award either, it was the BEST song of the year. Why choose this song which most critics considered commercial & sappy? Maybe for once the judges woke up to the fact they are awarding for musical content not political msgs or self-serving PR. Perhaps they remembered a song called Tian Mi Mi that ppl love for no other reason than it was a sweet song that made them happy. Sometimes music dun have to try too hard but it still not that easy to make ppl feel happy & lighthearted after listening. That's the power of music & David knows that only too well. Btw I thought it was extremely nice & thoughtful of him to get Jolin to thank WaWa for writing the lyrics.

Moving on up
I think its ironic that after Hakka musician Lin Shen Xiang rejected 2 awards for best singer & best album in the Hakka categories cos he felt that the GMA awards should not be based on language but music that GMA then awarded a best singer award to a Korean ^__^ Lin performed live & he has a beautiful voice. He demonstrated perfectly how a male singer with high pitch should sing naturally rather than exaggeratedly *coughsodagreencough* Perhaps the real reason why there are so many language categories is if its based on musical talent & singing ability, the Hakka, Taiwanese & Aboriginal musicians will sweep all the awards :P But I am glad GMA is over & since David will probably not be nominated nxt yr, there won't be the perennial disappointment. I think its best to accept that he will nvr win GMA best singer. I think with his decision not to attend GMA, he is like Lin Shen Xiang making a silent protest cos he dun quite see eye to eye with this award show. So we should accept his decision and move on.

Eternal idol
WOW DT Shanghai concert is only 3 weeks away today! Will start countdown soon. His international fans seem vry quiet all of a sudden. There's not the excitement of his previous concerts. Oh well ppl are fickle I guess, change idols like changing handsets ^__^ Even though I may get upset every now & again by David's perceived faults, I am proud to say I have nvr given him up. He is my eternal idol. Listened to mostly his demos today & thought again: what a talented man!
He said he is unable to express his thoughts through another singer but still he has written many wonderful songs for others. Like A-Mei who I thought did great justice to his songs. I love their earlier works where David sang & occasionally rapped in them. Here's the lyrics to One night stand, a wonderfully emotive song which to me seems vry true abt A-Mei. She is the sort I feel who will be extremely vulnerable when in love. Then there is Wonder Why which although a big sounding mandarin ballad but A-Mei seems to be able to imbue it with a native Taiwanese feel. Hopefully they will be able to co-operate again now they are both in EMI although how long David will be there is still up in the air >"< Also I still long for an album where David cover the songs he wrote for others.
Here's a news clip when he visited the contestants' bootcamp & gave them singing advice. He should appear around the middle of the clip. It was funny when they all sang Rain to welcome him *__* & oh can leave comments at his Live Earth clip to increase his renqi cos David needs to know that he is loved too u know ^__^ & help him save the earth. Some candid shots taken by mbrs of his most dedicated China fanclub DTFC:

DT in Nanjing
Quite a few articles abt David in Nanjing, here & here are the more interesting ones. They made him play word game & it was quite interesting.
Apparently two black-clad bodyguards accompanied him wherever he went making him look like a superstar but I think its just extra precaution for most celebrities in China ever since the Andy Lau crazy fan incident. David is still his friendly, funny self especially towards his mainland fans. He said something which made me vry teary. He was vry thankful to DTFC cos when he wasn't that popular & most countries dun have his fanclub, DTFC appeared out of nowhere. He was impressed by their sincerity & loyalty to him. He even registered @ their forum & instantly made VIP. Its true that his mainland fans have always been extremely proactive in their support for him & DTFC has appeared in the local news & various newspapers & magazines. Such an inspiration that I feel I must be more dedicated too *__*
Anyway I am vry satisfied with his recent appearances. As ever he is marching to his own beat, doing things his own way, challenging himself & his fans to keep up with him. He has nvr been conventional & now even more so. He said with confidence that his movie will be something that has nvr been done in chinese entertainment before. Although a bit taken aback by these words but still happy that he has found something that motivated him so much.
I think if David will to keep to his plan to come up with 3 studio albums in 3 yrs, there will be no surprises. He now has a project he can sink his teeth into & get his creative juices going again. By doing so maybe sacrificing his popularity & visibility but for him, its a small price to pay. Also he must have some confidence in his true fans that they will stay loyal to him.
By the by I sincerely hope he will not attend GMA cos I dun know. I really think they only want him to appear so they can make fun of the similarities between his name & Gary. GMA will do anything to increase rating. I mean think of it, they did not invite him to perform or present an award. They just want him to attend so they must be up to some tricks maybe to pay him back for his comments abt them. David, dun fall for it, DO NOT ATTEND ^__^

First-rate, single DT
Yesterday 6/13 David flew to Nanjing to hold press conference, meet his fans & chat online. No pixs at the moment but hopefully some will be posted. Perhaps the most interesting bit of info is for the first time David admitted that Joanna was his girlfriend but unfortunately with the ex infront so its true that they have broken up. So for those who have been asking: Mr David Tao is currently SINGLE and has NO girlfriend at the moment ^__^
He looks terribly puppy sweet & lost here, make u wanna take him home *__* This is courtesy of Jia from Toronto. Thanks so much for yr detailed email Jia & gorgeous pixs, I agree with everything you said & will continue to work hard on this blog in support of DT. Anyway the chat centered mostly on his future plan to go into films. For his concert, David wants to go back to basics with the focus only on music. He hopes to have more interaction with the audience. Below are some fabulous shots by Jia of the stage & unplugged session during Toronto concert:
This concert really looks & feels like a no-frills Westernised concert. If this is the concept that David is after, then I am vry much for it, apart from the title which has yet to grow on me :P
Before leaving for Nanjing, David went to the training camp for male contestants in a popular Shanghai singing competition, the same one last yr which featured mbrs of Gogoclub. The contestants sang his songs & asked for his advice. He was vry nice & told them not to become a second-rate singer by imitating an idol's style. He advised them to develop their own styles & hope they are able to surpass him. That's something I always respect abt David. He has never sneered at anyone who tries to imitate him nor has he ever insinuated that other singers are imitating him. Also he is extremely sincere when he said he hopes others are able to surpass him. He has never cared or wanted to compete to be the No 1 r&b or pop male mandarin singer. He is more than happy to share the stage with other talented singer/composers & he always treat them with utmost respect. That is something that many chinese music critics, majority of the media & some in the music industry have never really understood about him.
Here he is looking all serious & teachy. Love him like that *__* but can understand why ppl are calling him 'fat' (This is for you, Tangerina). He does not have the average Asian male body which is either lanky or chubby. He has more of a Western male body shape which is solid, muscular with a broad chest.
In fact I am thinking he has almost the same body shape as Brad Pitt. Wonder if he looks like this in the buff *blush* but let's not go there now that he is single again ... erm ... a bit hot in here so how abt a serious vid abt the environment. Find this recording he did for Live Earth in TW telling us in the cutest DT way how to help save the earth:

Lover & musical
David's Shanghai concert got off to a great start & in 3 days has already taken in 3m rmb. Daphne is sponsoring all his concerts in China & has even organised a countrywide contest in all its stores in 21 chinese cities to look for his 'ideal lover'. The winner will not only be able to sing Marry Me Today onstage with David in his concerts but will also has the opportunity to be vj on Channel V or act in a TV series. There will be a winner for each city the concert is held. At the moment only Shanghai & Nanjing are confirmed but concerts are also being planned for Changsha, Quangzhou & Chengdu.
David again expressed his disappointment in the chinese music industry saying that it was too 'changeable', the market is growing bigger but the quality is falling. Asked if he will consider being producer instead, he said he is not interested as he finds it difficult to express his thoughts through another singer. Also writing & producing for singers who cannot sing give him a headache ^__^ Actually David first got into singing cos he was tired of producing for singers who sang badly. Looks like things haven't changed & David has always maintain high standards in the recording studio.
David said he has written half the script for his movie & that it will be 音樂劇 meaning musical which kinda surprising. I nvr expected him to film a musical as its not the easiest genre to film. But the good news is that there will definitely be an OST to look foward to *__* As for a new studio album, David said flatly he hasn't done anything cos he is not motivated. He really is the limit ^__^ Which popular singer in today's fickle market dared to arbitarily decide he is not going to come up with an album & instead take 2 yrs off to film a movie? Most singers will be terrified that the market will forget them with so many young, packaged idol singers coming out all the time. Faye Wong is probably the only one but even she will find it hard now to achieve the kind of sales & popularity she had in the past. But David just coolly said that if his movie flop & nobody wants to listen to his songs, then he will go into real estate in China :P

One DT show
David held a press conference in Shanghai 6/11 to officially announce his 7/7 concert. DTFC was there of cos & took tons of pixs. The best are here where credited most of the pixs posted here & much thanks. They kept saying he put on weight. I think he looks fine, he can afford to lose a bit but not much more.

David Tao Bids Farewell in July Concert
2007-06-11 21:28:23 CRIENGLISH.com
David Tao (L) promotes his forthcoming exclusive concert in Shanghai, on Monday afternoon, June 11, 2007. Taiwan pop king David Tao promoted his forthcoming exclusive concert on Monday afternoon in Shanghai, Chinese website sohu.com reports. The concert will be a simple “one man show”, without any guest performers, the star said. David Tao said after the concert he will devote most of his times towards the production of films. “I’m not shooting films to have fun. I really want to make achievements, even higher than what I have done in music.” The vocal concert will be held in Shanghai’s Hongkou Stadium on July 7.
I love how he never stops wanting to achieve. It's not ambition I dun think but he really always need to have the motivation to do something not just for fun as he said or profit. That's what make him so attractive, plus the 100-watt smile of cos ^__^
David will also meet the press in Nanjing on 6/13 & go online @ www.lifenanjing.com.cn to chat with fans from 3pm to 3.40pm.
Even his back view is attractive *__* Hopefully he will sing Forever. (All pixs credit DTFC)

One last cry
He looks extremely fine here ^__^ Some kind soul has been uploading numerous clips of his I'm OK concert @ Taipei in 2001, put some on the sidebar. Here's my fav where he sang Brian McKnight's One Last cry:
Just perfect *sigh* GMA should have given the Best mandarin singer to him then. Now there's no point really for him to win the award cos what does it prove? That he is still good @ singing when he is ready to go on to the nxt stage in his career - being a director? The award has no importance for him anymore which was probably why he said he dun particularly want it. Even though he keeps saying that he is not leaving music, that its only temporary but I don't know. If his venture into movies prove more satisfying for him as an artist, will he still wanna go back to music? Remember with David, it dun have to be extremely successful or has good box office. It suits him better to be behind the scenes while still being creative. Also it gives him a legit way to disappear almost completely from the chinese entertainment world where sometime he dun feel comfortable. We should wish him well & let him go his way I guess. Not try to hold him to his promise that he will not forsake his music. At the very least he has already touched & moved many with his music. Like here where a photographer used his song Every side is beautiful as accompaniment to her lovely still shot. He gonna try & leave many more wonderful memories with his 123 We are all wooden men concerts *sigh* But for sure we see less & less of him. I hope he will remember to write more often to keep us updated.

At Tension!
David being followed by paparazzi again >"< Altho this pix taken without permission but must post cos he looks so adorable scratching his head *__* Still he was criticised for exposing his fat *roll eyes* If this is considered fat then Brad Pitt must be COLOSSAL!
Weird! Besides David is a real man & singer not some stick model. How is he to sing with power & projection on stage if he is skin & bone? Anyway such is the way of the world.
Great news! Tension has started a BLOG & Andy as always the first to post ^__^ I wish I could be more devoted to them but much as I love them I love David even more & can only spend what little time I have on him. Come on Tension fans I know you are out there, its time to show more support now that they have made the effort to reach out. Also plse dun blame David for not trying to promote them more. Just like parents, David cannot support them forever, they need to do it on their own & they have taken the first step. I fervently pray & wish them success.
David looking all serious & contemplative as someone has criticised his song *gasp* hee its ok ivana. The reason I think The Moment is great is cos there are people who think its a terrible song. Its not vry accessible or ktv friendly but if you can appreciate it, then WOW The arrangement is just ... masterful yet subtle ... a bit Beethoven as the power & emotion caught you unaware. Then there are critics who hate Marry Me Today cos too many people like it. So you can't plse everyone. DT once said that 'if you find the formula for making successful music then you should quit cos music should always be about surprises, spontaneity & real emotions.' The Moment is a surprise cos its unlike his other songs. So is Marry Me Today cos who would have thought that he will write a duet like that?
