HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!
Help me sumone from stealing more pixs from DT website heeheeheehee. Oh well, its New Year's eve, sum liberties allowed rite? Anyway strange they keep announcing forum closedown & its still up? Glad to see ppl chatting away in the sing thread & oso Mark, thank u for leaving msg, hope to meet up wif u @ DT forum.
English article on Xintiandi countdown concert. Sounds fabulous, hopefully reports & pixs will be up @ davidcn. Sum other news is on house belonging to David's parents in Shanghai. Seem David vry seldom stay there prefering hotel & his room converted to office 4 his dad. Oso his mom slimmed down from dancing & David called her when gossips of her dancing wif a younger man to tell her not to stop dancing & he will support her (such a good son).
Then news of no big stars at Taiwan New Year's eve celebration cos David, Jay, Mayday, Jolin, SHE all haf other engagements. Such insult to other celebrities who r present like Stefanie, Wu Bai, BAD, WANG LEE HOM & many others. Should they be considered small stars? *roll eyes* Btw wonder what Tension doing tonight?
Anyway David should be getting ready 4 his concert now, wish I could teleport myself there. But nice quiet family New Year's eve planned. So Happy New Year everyone, if u r drinking dun drive.
Soul Power in Shanghai
In Shanghai yesterday, David looking tired (poor thing) but still sweet, said his musicians flying in from Singapore & Malaysia so its prolly his Soul Power crew. So happy & excited to see them reunited for a great New Year's Eve countdown concert tonight. Wish I could be there.
Oso it seemed he only finished recording 3 songs for his new album, but still scheduled to be released Jan 05. Dun noe what to think cos vry anxious to listen but dun want David to overwork. Well just haf to wait I guess. Btw DT forum shutdown was tonight midnight & reopened New Year's Day. See u there okie!
Yesterday was death anniversary of Anita Mui, forever a legend in our hearts. Oso death toll from the tsunami now 114,000. Remember, pray & help if u can.

Shutting & counting down
davidtao.com closed @ midnight for maintainance, will reopen 24 hrs later. Hopefully dis might mean more english content as promised by David. BTW title of Singapore thread in forum is chinese so if u r chinese challenged, look 4 originator of thread - mercuria. The posts now 4 pages (yeah yeah) mostly english so plse join in. I post everyday to push up thread, msgs to David, even if he dun read, its ok, I am satisfied he gives his fans venue to write to him.
I haf a vry looooooooong wishlist to change him to more my liking heehee. First I ask 4 more english songs, next to wear more check shirts cos he looks so good in them. Next nvr cut his hair short, stop wearing his loud pink shirt, stop posing with thumb up, appear more on tv - maybe host a program or sumthing so can watch him talk at least an hr, & lots more hehehhehehhehehhehhe. I really love him a lot not boy/girl kinda love of cos, he just so adorable & talented & great & wonderful.
Hm....it seemed David wrote a song for Ken Chu's new album, member of F4. David really picks sum interesting ppl to work wif.
Here's nice looking fanlisting for David if u interested, dun quite understand how it works or 4 what purpose is a fanlisting? Anyway David prolly in Shanghai now preparing 4 his countdown concert, wish him success & good luck to his fans who r attending. Hope u guys haf a fantastic time.

Updating David
Guess quite a few still haf not registered @ forum so will continue to update here until David haf time to put in sum more english content or version @ his site. There's a S'pore thread dat I continue to push up so hopefully David can remember us english speaking fans. I oso left a carefully written msg to flatter him heehee, use dis thread cos he mentioned abt his Singapore fans finding it hard to read chinese.
Anyway sum more news is David's dad talking abt David being naughty as a kid, oso dat he spend a long time chatting on the phone. Once the phone bill was so high his dad refused to pay it. I think David oso admitted dis himself when he was spokesman for 006, but think he said dat his mom paid the phone bills not his dad.
David wanted to film a movie when he reach 40, he already haf sum idea of the script and it will be story abt China or happening in China (not sure how to translate). His most admired director is Steven Spielberg & his favorite recent movie is Artificial Intelligence. Hmmmmm he seemed to enjoy fantasy adventure like Harry Potter. But sure like his website David will surprise us when he produced & directed his first movie.
On a sad note, the death toll from Asia Earthquake & Tsunami has now reached the frightening figure of 44,000. Plse help to donate if u can.

Red bean buns
It seemed that David is fond of red bean bread/bun, sumthing I totally detest, but he lurve the stuff (yuck yuck), but only from a few stores. The man is a tyrant hehehehehehehe. Not only that but he lurve to do his own laundry, another thing I totally detest, and hates it if u send his clothes to a laundromat (the man is a pest as well). So it seemed dat I dun haf what it takes to be Mrs Tao kekekekekekekekekekeke. Sry imma surviving on a few hrs sleep here & starting to show. Mahjong marathon going on & I haf forgotten how persistent can be.
I was thinking abt how a girl posted @ DT forum that she was ashamed dat her english is too bad to post, but I replied dat it should be us english educated chinese who should be embarrassed not understanding chinese. My parttime boyfriend from El Salvador & his spanish is non existent unless his mother become angry & swear at him in that language heehee. Such a pity that native speakers of 2 such beautiful languages by birth cannot speak it.
Why my parttime bf? Cos he is all the way in SF & I haf to decide if I wanna go & live wif him. Actually haf alredi decided not to go cos cannot bear losing my independence & having to rely on another person in a foreign country. Guess imma still a coward where reality is concerned. What haf this to do wif David & red bean buns & laundry. Cos think these r oso symptoms of fear of losing control. That u must do things a certain way, buy food only from a certain store. It easy to tell yourself to let things go but harder to accomplish.
*big sigh* anyway here r sum more stolen pixs only cos I lurve flouting rules as much as my independence haha

Setting the standard
Guess ppl r surprised @ how extraordinary good David's website. Gotta hand it to the guy, 4 yrs in the making & its worth the wait. Really set the standard not just chinese celebrity sites but western ones as well. Just go visit a few famous ones like Britney, Usher & u know what I mean. Only one that just a little better is Moby cos much simpler yet deliver the same news, information, interaction, visuals, vids. Moby writes almost everyday, just short msgs like a blog, & his Moby Blips r wonderful, vry creative guy. Oso he dun use flash so faster to access, nice eg not using flash to look non-static.
But David's site really well done, vry seamless & works for his persona which is diff from Moby who is more political, outspoken & radical. Nowadays artists usually judged by how much money they made, but really should be judged by how much they gave back to their fans like David.
As for the eng version, think not advisable @ the moment as it would spoil the interaction between the fans. Oso noticed lotsa chinese fans attempting to post in eng cos prolly suspect like I do David more comfortable reading english? But more tran 4 news & important announcements would be nice, & then become a bilingual site, another DT first, wouldn't that be great?
English article on Lao Tayou's recently released album, reposted as it mentioned David:
Taiwan musician Lotayu has released a new album! The prolific singer-songwriter has created many pop classics, whose socially conscious lyrics resonate strongly among young people. So even if he hasn't come up with something new for ten years, his position as the "Godfather of Taiwan Music" is unshaken.
Lotayu held a press conference at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music to promote his long-awaited new album "Beautiful Island", which took the singer / songwriter eight years to finish. In order to be as free as possible in creating what he wanted, the king of pop put more than 100 thousand US dollars of his own money into producing this album.
Lotayu says his new album is a microcosm of his life and thinking during the last decade. Almost all fourteen songs featured on the album have real-life stories behind them. According to Lo, "Partner" was written during the SARS break in China, and dedicated to a Hong Kong couple who cancelled their thirtieth wedding anniversary because of the epidemic. "Unceasing Lover" traces the very own experience of him and his ex-wife before and after they divorced. "The Internet" expresses Lo's thought on the conflicts between technological development and humanist concerns.
Young talent David Tao and pop singer Wu Bai also turned up for the promotion. David Tao produced one single from Lo's album called "Quiet Hotspring", the first cooperation between two generations of musical talent.
Lotayu played "Ode to the Four Seasons" to celebrate the late Chinese composer He Luting, after whom the concert hall, the site for the promotion, was named.
But fifty-year-old Lotayu isn't comfortable with the title "the Godfather of Music". He said, "I don't like people calling me 'Godfather of Music'", Please don't use this word to me, I'd rather be a novice at the altar of music. I hate the title because first it's "too old", and second it gives me too much pressure.I believe Godfathers may exist in some other fields, but in the music world, there's no such thing."
Seeing himself as a new force rather than an "old" godfather, the musician and lyricist is preparing for his career to enter a new era.

Except the problem of small font not unusual 4 flashsite, but really his the nicest celebrity site I seen.
David wore his hot pink shirt 4 media conf, ermmm guess his newfound style is reserved 4 website heehee but he still vry shuai, just a bit tired.
Anyway hope David & his wonderful fans have a great Christmas full of joyous cheer.

100% what I give to davidtao.com, cool interface, negotiable, fun, stylish, creative, informative, interactive & lots & lots of David. Just like everything David do, its simply the best. I absolutely luv the little soundbytes of his past hits, so creative. But u do need to login to access media & downloads like these really great wallpapers.

Yes, its here at last DT official website but its in chinese & traditional chinese which means cannot read *sob* cos my computer for sum weird reason kept rejecting the software but nvr mind, nlayhua haf agreed to help translate & hopefully eng version will be added. But there still heaps to enjoy including gorgeous pixs & I mean David looks simply gorgeous. Oso just keep passing yr mouse over the chinese characters till u get a pix of a typewriter - that's David's diary which is in ENGLISH!!! & think it will continue to be in english so can read David's inner thoughts.
Anyway haha guess its just needed sumthing to motivate me cos I manage to install the software by tweaking it a bit so now I can read & haf registered as a member. So should be able to help those who r chinese challenged to negotiate the site, alredi a small clip of David saying hi to enjoy so just keep clicking the chinese characters & u will see it. Manage to steal below pix *shhhhhhhhhhhh* haha, btw the site is flash which is ok I guess.

Last word
David looks so good in white, anyway rare pix of heavenly king, small heavenly king & a talented musician kekekekekkekekekekekeke, sry just being facetious. Just wanna be clear here, dis not an anti-Jay site cos I really dun haf any comment on his music, but dun mean he is no good. Like I listen to Mozart not Mendelssohn, dun mean Mendelssohn is not as great a music genius as Mozart, in fact sum critics felt even better, just diff taste. The only time I commented on him was abt 'feel good' mv abt war but dis my personal grudge against artists even great ones like U2.
The other thing is anti-David msgs on the net. A strange thing that I observed last yr was the proliferation of these msgs & sum of them bordered & even extended into slander on his character & integrity as a musician. Oso the way they r posted seemed to be by 13 yr olds but no 13 yr old haf the kinda ability to research on music so thoroughly they can post obscure pieces of western music which they then accused David of pilfering. Dun know, maybe I being paranoid but it did haf sum effect on David's reputation cos he was sumtime quite publicly accused of being a copyist. Then there was his exclusion from GMA despite Black Tangerine being one of the best chinese albums ever released. There haf nvr been an explanation & I guess we nvr noe why. But David haf made the comment dat he preferred working wif non Taiwanese musicians cos they bring more freshness to music. Can put 2 & 2 together & come up wif 5 hahahahaha but hope u noe what imma getting at. As I said the reason 4 my blog is to create sum balance, must fight fire wif fire rite heehee.
Oso on the same subject of copying vs creativity, found dis article which said it so much better than I can. Basically its abt Broadway play Frozen being accused of plagiarism. As vry long, I post the relevant bits here:
I went to see a friend of mine who works in the music industry. We sat in his living room on the Upper East Side, facing each other in easy chairs, as he worked his way through a mountain of CDs. He played Angel by the reggae singer Shaggy, and then The Joker by the Steve Miller Band, and told me to listen very carefully to the similarity in bass lines. He played Led Zeppelin's Whole Lotta Love and then Muddy Waters's You Need Love, to show the extent to which Led Zeppelin had mined the blues for inspiration. He played Twice My Age by Shabba Ranks and Krystal, and then the saccharine seventies pop standard Seasons in the Sun until I could hear the echoes of the second song in the first. He played Last Christmas by Wham!, followed by Barry Manilow's Can't Smile Without You to explain why Manilow might have been startled when he first heard that song, and then Joanna by Kool and the Gang, because, in a different way, Last Christmas was an homage to Kool and the Gang as well. "That sound you hear in Nirvana," my friend said at one point, "that soft and then loud, kind of exploding thing, a lot of that was inspired by the Pixies." Yet Kurt Cobain, Nirvana's lead singer and songwriter was such a genius that he managed to make it his own. And Smells Like Teen Spirit, here he was referring to perhaps the best-known Nirvana song. That's Boston's More Than a Feeling. He began to hum the riff of the Boston hit, and said, "The first time I heard Teen Spirit I said, That guitar lick is from More Than a Feeling. But it was different, it was urgent and brilliant and new."
He played another CD. It was Rod Stewart's Do Ya Think I'm Sexy, a huge hit from the nineteen-seventies. The chorus has a distinctive, catchy hook, the kind of tune that millions of Americans probably hummed in the shower the year it came out. Then he put on Taj Mahal by the Brazilian artist Jorge Ben Jor, which was recorded several years before the Rod Stewart song. In his twenties, my friend was a d.j. at various downtown clubs, and at some point he'd become interested in world music. I caught it back then, he said. A small, sly smile spread across his face. The opening bars of Taj Mahal were very South American, a world away from what we had just listened to. And then I heard it. It was so obvious and unambiguous that I laughed out loud; virtually note for note, it was the hook from Do Ya Think I'm Sexy. It was possible that Rod Stewart had independently come up with that riff, because resemblance is not proof of influence. It was also possible that he'd been in Brazil, listened to some local music, and liked what he heard.
My friend had hundreds of these examples. We could have sat in his living room playing at musical genealogy for hours. Did the examples upset him? Of course not, because he knew enough about music to know that these patterns of influence, cribbing, tweaking, transforming were at the very heart of the creative process. True, copying could go too far. There were times when one artist was simply replicating the work of another, and to let that pass inhibited true creativity. But it was equally dangerous to be overly vigilant in policing creative expression, because if Led Zeppelin hadn't been free to mine the blues for inspiration we wouldn't have got Whole Lotta Love and if Kurt Cobain couldn't listen to More Than a Feeling and pick out and transform the part he really liked we wouldn't have Smells Like Teen Spirit and, in the evolution of rock, Smells Like Teen Spirit was a real step forward from More Than a Feeling. A successful music executive has to understand the distinction between borrowing that is transformative and borrowing that is merely derivative...
Reposted from New Yorker
But I will leave last word to David - "There are only so many notes, chords and instruments you can play. Things will always sound like someone else, but the important question is, are you trying to copy somebody, or are you doing your own thing but just happen to sound like somebody else?"
A legend and an angel
The english version of Shanghai 2005 Countdown party courtesy of fei! Such a thrill to see David on an english site hehehehehhehehe altho could have used a more updated pix. David's on just b4 the countdown, click on program to see. Only 2 wks away for the lucky ppl in Shanghai.
Andy Lau was the closing act last yr & apparently vry emotional wif news of Anita Mui's death just the day b4. Do visit http://www.mui-mui.org/ on the anniversary of her passing & leave yr msg. A true legend lives on forever in our hearts.
David @ Anita's last concert in HK. Sumone ask for translation of Angel so here it is in memory of Anita.
ANGEL
In the mirror, I see a strange face
A faded look in the eyes
Smiling is only a twisted movement of the lips
My loneliness, who can understand?
Like a boat rocking in the sea
Even the North Star cannot be seen
Who can set sails and forever leave this dark lake?
Angel Angel, longing for you to be by my side
Angel Angel, please hold my hand tightly
Sometimes I think nobody can truly understand
All the pain I harboured inside
Fearful of using a sincere heart to face the world
Instead I have become more and more silent
A person (a person) floating in the sea
The person who is talking cannot be seen
Who can give me a warm (embrace me) embrace?
When I feel my heart beginning to break
Angel Angel, longing for you to be by my side
Angel Angel, can you hear me calling you?
Please tell a tired and lonely me
That you will always be waiting
Angel Angel, please stay by my side
Angel Angel, never let go of my hand

Lou Dayou on David, "Every generation has its own representative singer. Like Tao Zhe's mother sang Bejing opera, his dad sang western influenced songs, this east and west union is also why he can sing r&b so well....."
Btw he mentioned David answering a question abt Jay. I noticed lotsa older generation singers do dat when asked abt Jay or r&b, so can see the impact David has on these singers when he came up with his first album. Singers like Jeff Chang, Dave Wong, Sun Nan, Jacky Cheung, all has respect for him, & its not easy to get respect from these veteran singers. So next time when u see a msg insulting David, just remember he is respected by those who matter.
It has been confirmed David will be in concert wif Elva Hsiao @ Shanghai 2004 Countdown party on Dec 31. Lucky ppl in Shanghai, get to see in 2005 wif the one & only David. Info credit to davidcn as always
Did u realised its 2 yrs & 5 mths since David released Black Tangerine? He really does take his time, but sure to see improvement in his new album. He will not disappoint. Just go & listen to the new song he wrote 4 Gigi Leung which nlayhua kindly posted @ blog forum - a lovely, well crafted song suitable 4 Gigi's soft sweet voice. Its canto pop the David Tao way hehehehehehehehehehhe

Jackie & Jaycee
My Xmas David dun look too good heehee, oh well, do another one soon. Sum news is Jaycee Chan who won another newcomer award admire & most want to work with David. Dis the 2nd time he mentioned David so must really like him.
He's not the best looker but he does haf charm & seem a really nice guy. Another guy oso not the best looker but a god in term of singing, Jacky Cheung covered David's I Love You in his one day concert where he sang mostly other ppl songs. So amazing, gotta listen to the god of singer singing David's signature tune, not to be miss rite!
CD on preorder alredi *faint* so many cds to get now - David's, Lee Hom's & oso Andy Lau's Vision Tour vcd cos wanna see him singing wif the white lion (*_____*)
Need to update the list of singers singing David's songs now, keep growing hehehehehehe. It seemed that David might be in New year eve concert wif Elva Hsiao in Shanghai, will post if confirmed.

Happy Sunday :)
David, Gigi & Jordan, 2 HK singers he worked wif. I remembered watching Turn Right Turn Left last yr & it was ok. Oso either Gigi or Stefanie sang the theme song, dun remembered. But the book was beautiful, such nice illustrations. Anyway I managed to upload Happy Sunday clip with David wiping Selina's tears & those who want it, plse login @ blog. Its a fairly big file, abt 22mb.
Fei send me this article (thx Fei) regarding Asian pop making it in US. To be honest, dun think so at the moment altho I did remembered reading sumwhere that a US hiphop group is redoing sum Jpop. Oso either Jpop or Kpop will prolly made it first b4 Cpop. Or maybe even sum singer or group in Philippines or Thailand could made it big in US. Remember Tata Young & Sexy, Naughty, Bitchy. But Cpop haf a long way to go. Oso considering the US still haf culture shock when it comes to all thing eastern wif the latest being Nike ad featuring Lebron James banned in China. I wondered if it was Yao Ming, would they still ban it?
It does look a bit offensive, what was Nike thinking?
Anyway as far as David is concerned, dun think he is targeting the US now or in the future. I still want an english album or even an english gospel album, that would be marvellous.

New DT songs
Here's Lynn's DT Tshirt design, vry nice, Lynn. Anyway will post @ blog forum & anyone interested can leave msgs for Lynn okie. In fact will haf Buy, Sell & Exchange forum 4 all yr DT & Tension stuff. Personally interested in a huge DT poster, anyone haf?
David written a song 4 Gigi Leung new album ente'tein the 3rd song called Shan Xin, not sure the eng meaning. Anyway dun know much abt Gigi Leung except she is vry popular in HK & oso vry tall haha. In dis album she haf the cream of HK talent helping her - Sam Hui, Andy Lau, Hins Cheung & Edmond Leung, so David in vry good company. Not sure if he oso produced the track, but vry anxious to listen to song.
David oso wrote another song 4 Leo Ku's new album according to this article. Seemed will be r&b song like Don't say you don't know which he wrote 4 Leo's cantonese album Games. Happy dat David is quietly working with artists who seemed vry much into music 4 music sake not bursting onto the pop charts.
Other news is David's mum spotted dancing with much younger man, who Tao Dawei explained, is actually her dance instructor. David haf declined comments & his mum was reportedly incensed dat being close to sixy can still generate such gossip.
News oso speculating on the closeness of release of David's new album, Lee Hom's & Jay's live concert & the resulting competition. Plse ppl, dun buy into the hype, just follow yr heart, if u listen to album & like it then buy it. No such thing as competition in the music world, only hype. Look at U2, a flashy ad wif iPod followed by their bestselling album to date. U haf to wonder if ppl r buying the album 4 the music or cos its so cool. Sry but not a U2 fan myself altho can understand why David & so many ppl like them. They r clever in making their music both edgy & mainstream but I really dislike their 'feel good' attitude. Its like 'listen to our music & u become a citizen of the world feeling the pain'. How abt doing sumthing abt it then? I mean they r famous for singing abt social issues & yet their own countrymen still get abused at football games 4 the color of their skin.

Live for today
Recommend a song vry seldom heard but great track nonetheless like Different. David wrote for Eason Chan's same name album, Live for Today released last yr. Can dl from my briefcase to listen. The beginning is terrific - all guitar & all David's, yup, David played all the guitars on dis track. Eason's vocals just great & so rite for this infectious rock song with uplifting lyrics by Wyman Wong to encourage Hkgers. Oso the backing vocals r Andrew Chu & Josh Chen. Not only dat but part of the mv shot on rooftop of David's studio heehee.
David's thoughts on Eason:
Working with Eason was simply pure pleasure and enjoyment. We had fun every step of the way because of the energy Eason constantly gave out. Watching him unleash his emotions and feelings in front of the mic without holding back was so refreshing as well as a totally liberating experience for Andrew and myself. What impressed me the most, though, was not Eason's uncanny vocal abilities but his sense of humor, kindness, honesty and love for the world around him. Eason truly deserves our ovation and respect. Fly high, my brother.'
The second track Katrina oso in briefcase. Again David demonstrated his excellent song arranging from simple love ballad to perfect rock ballad for Eason's vocals. Man, can the guy sing!
In this interview Jasmine/Fish Leong talk a bit abt David:
"I have always been his fan, from his first album I have bought every one of his album, and also have given them as gifts to my Malaysian friends. He write very good songs, and he is very sincere, and can play every kind of instrument. He is one person responsible for music arrangement and backing vocals, I have learnt from him many singing techniques."
She sounds like a really nice girl & most everyone who met her haf only good things to say. Apparently she sounds wonderful live & even tho she been put down as 'KTV queen' for singing so many sappy love songs, she is trying her best to try different styles.
I really liked dat even tho David can play so many instruments, he rarely demonstrate it. In his concerts he only play his guitar and a bit of piano, he just concentrated on his singing. He is just so sincere that he dun do sumthing unless it is for the music. Plse understand not putting down other singers like Lee Hom who play so many instruments on stage, part of his persona & his fans expect it of him. But for David, I think he will rather play the instrument only if required like recently electronic keyboard in Lou Dayou's album. Anyway sum pixs of Eason & David performing together in Soul Power concert. Dun they look great together & luv the first one where can see David sticking out his tongue lol. Longterm music career
Guess lotsa ppl esp those @ davidcn haf mixed feelings abt the official website. Took me by surprise 2 esp wif mention of membership. But things change, situation change & ppl change & maybe David felt its time to voice his thoughts & his feelings to his fans in proper environment like an official website rather an unofficial fansite. Sure he dun mean to intentionally hurt the feelings of those who worked long & hard to make davidcn such success. Oso while all r David fans @ davidcn, not all David fans for various reasons r members of davidcn. So it may be for these reasons dat he decided to launch his own website.
Oso really great sign cos it meant that he is serious abt his longterm career in chinese entertainment. Always I haf the feeling that David will one day just give up & stay permanently in US to do his other stuff (well whatever he is doing when not music). & if dis website is anything like the davidtaomuisc site, then there will be heaps of media to enjoy. Oso membership mean forum & a place 4 him to leave lotsa msgs heehee. So its all good. Davidcn will be the fans' fansite & will always be source 4 all things David, that will nvr change. So plse dun make David feel bad abt launching a website, sure he haf sum plans dat will be revealed.
As for my blog will keep going but revert back to more blog & less fansite. Hopefully now dat David keen on making waves in chinese entertainment again, there will be more to blog. Will keep the forum cos of the profiles & if ppl wanna chat a bit or post sum questions. I really feel dat David will make another impact on chinese music in more low key manner, but it will be lasting & cement his name as one of the most influential Chinese musicians of all time.

Official website launch
Many, many thx to nlayhua posting David's 4th msg @ forum. So David haf plans 4 official website which I think is a good thing. Prolly like the davidtaomusic.com launched during Ultrasound altho imma not a great fan of flash but the guy on the bike was rather cute. Oso love the various soundbites where David talk abt his 3 albums & concerts. Not sure if there is eng version but nvr know as like me, David dun seem to know how to type in chinese.
At least fans can get latest news & accurate updates. Oso the official website will not compete but complement davidcn so we get the best of both worlds so now there r two homes to visit to show our love & support 4 David.

Collecting David
This prolly the earliest pix of David & rumored gf Joanna taken last yr I think. Davidcn haf the latest here from Apple Daily. David looked so charming wif scarf & <3<3<3 the pix of him wif guitar on his back. Used to hate music students wif guitars on their backs, but David just looks sooooooo rite, guitar & David goes together naturally hehehehheheh. Anyway can read english tran @ DTFC english forum but usual stuff abt Joanna walking his dog, buying him food, driving him around & staying late @ his house. Actually see more of him & Joanna than Melody who was his real but ex gf. Dun think ever see a pix of them together. But whatever so long as they r happy, altho Joanna looked more matured hoho.
Chinese version of Studio Classroom's article on David & online chat during broadcast of lesson on David. The french & Italian version of China Radio International haf articles on David, now the Indonesian version haf Melody streaming online. This chinese article haf nothing but good things to say abt I'm Ok album. Acappella group in University of Michigan covering Spring Wind & Our Story. Acappella group in University of Wisconsin covering Tuberose, repeating note by note David's version. Can dl & listen, its not bad & oso demonstrate David's extreme skill in music arrangement. David's fame is slowly but surely increasing. I think he will be happy that so many diverse students who love accapella in 2 diff universities in the US haf listened & r playing his works. True testament to his talents & sincerity to do only good music.
David's father oso appeared on Azio to announce the commencement of his anime, Yappy Dog, in Taiwan. The first anime wholly produced in China & hopefully will be a huge success. Tao Dawei oso said that it was his dream to do totally chinese anime & dat David helped him to realise this dream. David oso wrote, sang & produced the theme song, Brilliant Alive, & appeared in the mv which oso featured characters from the Yappy Dog (including one which resembled his dad totally heehee).
